This is my go to salon! I’ve come in a few times now but today really sealed the deal. It’s been months since my last hair cut. In the meantime I’ve bleached my own hair (mistake) and tried to color correct with box dye. It had been washing out and lightening at the beach, leaving me looking washed out and hair that was too warm for me. It didn’t look horrible but the ends were dry and I had some banding going on from the bleaching. I went in wanting my hair to look healthy so that I can continue to grow it out. I was also considering doing some lightening but after my consultation with Elise, we decided on evening it out, knowing my hair will lighten at the beach and in the ocean. I wanted a trim and some face framing layers after trying to trim my own and she worked wonders! I’m so happy with my hair, it looks so natural and has so much more shape and movement! I will be continuing to go here.

Diana is by far, the best stylist for precision cutting! I've never known anyone who can take scissors and make a masterpiece out of thin, short hair; but she can. Diana is a miracle hair worker!! I will not go to any other stylist! ❤️ thank you Hoala Aveda Salin

For a corrective hair color after using products for years that contained henna, I was happy to find Scotty to fix my odd and uneven coloring. He took his time to make sure I got fantastic, natural-looking results. He is obviously a master at his craft and a true coloring artist. He even threw in a little trim, and I felt so cared for by him and by Aveda’s high quality, botanical-based products. The entire staff was friendly and professional, and the hot cups of soothing herbal tea were a nice touch. I can’t recommend Scotty and Hoala Salon highly enough.

Love Ho’ala Salon at Ala Moana. Masami is an exceptional hairstylist and Masako is a wonderful Esthetician and Masseuse. I highly recommend both of them! I won’t go anywhere else for my hair services and personal spa services. They are well worth the price!!

It's my favorite spa on the island. I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed! I love all of the services! My mom also loves it, and we go together every time she is in town. 🥰

What a pleasant surprise, it was to return to the salon for the first time since the pandemic. I am very happy to say that their focus on providing excellent customer service is still the priority here.I made an appointment with Summer to have lowlights and highlights, and she listened carefully and did an excellent job. I am very happy with the results!The salon is very clean and they have installed privacy panels between the shampoo stations and I especially appreciated that. It is much more comfortable now!The prices are reasonable, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly.If you are looking for quality hair coloring with professional stylists, this is the place to go. The Aveda products that they use never disappoint!I have already scheduled my next hair color appointment with Summer and I’m looking forward to it.

I absolutely LOVE this spa! Its super clean, open, well furnished and decorated. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I just walked in and there was availability. I was greeted and treated so well. My masseuse, TERRI was INCREDIBLE!! She's one of the TOP 5 massages i have ever gotten. She was super attentive, checked in on me throughout the entire time to make sure the pressure was good, i was feeling relaxed and everything was what I needed. TERRI got EVERY part of my head, neck and shoulders where i was hurting and i wished i lived in the same city as her so she could be my forever masseuse. She's so professional, sweet, thoughtful and considerate and just made my entire day! I wish i could have spent my entire day at the spa, it was such a great place to be!

It's a one stop salon... you can truly send the entire day here from getting your hair and nails done to relaxing with a massage and enjoying the steam room.I love the Aveda smell walking into the salon and the warm and friendly greeters. I would recommend have a service here. I have gotten my hair cut and colored by Gabbie and color with also Janelle. They are talented hairstylists!
